I absolutly agree with your above comments regarding our traditional commercial Christmas. While I am not a relgious person I do enjoy the pomp & circumstance of the gathering of family, the mighty feast, maybe even a few trinket gifts. Definetly I look forward to the board games....Cranium is my new favorite.

Over the last 20 years I've seen more and more commercial hype for this holiday which is suppose to spread joy and happiness. It ususally brings anguish, sorrow, and greed.

I've seen clerks climb shelving units at Kmart to avoid the Blue Light special mob. I've actually been in WalMart (killing time before a movie in a nearby theatre) and have witnessed a woman in a wheel chair, running into another customer just to get at a scarf before anyone else did. Now this latest death at Walmart.

My daughter tells me that I am the Grinch and she reminds me when my Grinchiness is showing. But I just don't get why ppl have to behave like that scented chia pet is to die for. I also don't understand why some ppl have to go into debt to buy poorly made items. Shouldn't we be showing our love to friends and family year long. If that was the case then why the rush to buy something that will be tossed out when we do our spring cleaning in March?

I would love to hear that I am wrong and commercial Christmas's are warm and fuzzy. Maybe my heart is 3 sizes to small.....Cindy Loo where are you?
